Description
Slint’s first album, recorded by Steve Albini and released in 1989, was remastered by Bob Weston from the original analog tapes. This version presents, on the second LP, the album entirely remixed from the original masters, the way Ethan Buckler (bassist on Tweez) always wanted it, having complained for years about Steve Albini’s production of their first record. Buckler gave the engineer a copy of a pre-Tweez Slint rehearsal tape as a guide for the remix. Pressed on hand-numbered 180-gram double white vinyl. Notes from Steve Albini and Ethan Buckler
