Green, white and black sticker in the front of the cover. Packaged in a heavy weight “tip-on” gatefold LP jacket with a large format, glued-in, 12 page book of photos including a foreword by Will Oldham and a download coupon for the remastered album plus 14 bonus outtakes and demos.

– Hype sticker has highlighted words in green instead of black and white-only printing;
– Booklet has an additional illustrated page with spider photos, doesn’t have a pocket for the DVD;
– Instead, the DVD is housed in a separate, blank paper sleeve.

Featuring dramatically alternating dynamics and vocals ranging from spoken word to shouting, the album contains narrative lyrics that emphasize alienation. Spiderland was Slint’s first release on Touch and Go, and the group’s only album to feature Todd Brashear.
